Approached from the winding passageways of the hotel’s buzzy lobby or via its own entrance off Bulstrode Street, there is a clear change of pace on reaching 108 Pantry’s cosy, inviting interior.  Sure enough, the café society vibe inside provides a warm, cocooned feel.  Breakfast and cream tea are the main attractions here, however the space also provides light, modern dishes throughout the day for those on the go, from freshly made cakes and pastries to fresh salads and sandwiches, plus healthy juices from ‘expert goodness’ brand, The Juicery.

The bright, modern decor mixes vintage charm with a chic palette of contemporary colours played out in the red leather studded chairs and mustard sofas.  It’s a warmth that is reflected at the counter, where freshly made cakes and pastries are constantly emerging from the kitchen, their details chalked up on mini slate blackboards, while baristas serve up fresh coffees.  It all makes for a strong sense of belonging, whether you are passing through, or settling in for the day.
