Directions & Transport Links
The Bristol is well connected to transport links, making train, bus and car journeys between the hotel and several reference points short. This leaves you more time to explore and make the most of the city’s attractions and vibe, or simply just enjoy the facilities of the hotel itself.
The Bristol hotel now falls within the City of Bristol Clean Air Zone. Charges only apply to older more polluting vehicles. Please use this link to check for your car: Drive in a clean air zone - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk) |
Bristol Airport
Jump into a car and drive to the hotel from the airport, and you can be there relatively soon after you set off. A car journey to and from the airport is a quick 30 minutes or less via the A38 and A370.
The Bristol Flyer departs from the airport at regular intervals and will deposit you at Bristol Bus and Coach Station or Bristol Temple Meads Railway Station on a journey lasting roughly 30 minutes. From either of these stops, the walk is approximately 15 to 20 minutes on foot to the hotel, so you may opt to take a taxi instead.
Bus service 70 runs from Temple Meads Railway Station along Redcliffe Way, leaving you just a few minutes from the hotel if you prefer to use the bus.
Temple Meads Railway Station
If you’re arriving at Temple Meads Railway Station, you can hop onto bus service 70 from the station and get off on Redcliffe Way. You’ll be steps away from the hotel.

Bristol Bus and Coach Station
Catching bus service 90 a couple of streets away from the bus and coach station will allow you to step off the bus on The Grove. This street is a little round the corner from the hotel. You’ll hardly notice the time as the journey lasts approximately 10 minutes.

Please be advised that Bristol City Council is working on the Redcliffe / Bascule Bridge during the hours of 9.30am to 3.30pm from 20th January 2025 to 7th February 2025. This will result in it being closed to pedestrians and traffic during these times. We have a road diversion to make you aware of during the above times. The council have arranged that the Bus Gate on Bristol Bridge will not be enforced whilst bridge closures are in place, meaning that guests can still access the hotel via the following route –Redcliffe Street, Victoria Street, onto Bristol Bridge, turn left into Baldwin Street, turn left onto Marsh Street, along Marsh Street and onto Prince Street. Turn right into Prince Street Car Park. Diversion signs will be in place. |
