This is the first and only bar and restaurant in London to offer their entire list poured in 175ml glasses (125ml also available upon request), pouring the wine from the bottle without ever pulling the cork. The K Bar and Town House restaurant

The K Bar offers a seductive and sophisticated setting located at The Kensington Hotel. Inspired by the atmosphere of a gentleman’s club, the plush velvet bar stools, deep grained oak panelling and low lighting offers a warm ambience, an amazing setting to warm up this winter. The bar itself, fronted with leather panelling, is where the gorgeous drinks are poured. Town House itself is an all-day dining haven – a place away from home to enjoy a few glasses of wine. All of this creates the perfect atmosphere for London’s first and only venue to offer an entire wine list poured by the glass.

Quality Wine

The Kensington serves the very best wines from around the world. Guests can experience the beautiful flavours of grapes from Bordeaux, Tuscany and California to name a few. By using the award-winning Coravin system, wine is poured by the glass, without affecting its taste, meaning that quality is paramount and kept intact. The system pours wine without pulling the cork, which protects the wine from oxidation. This means that the final glass tastes just as delicious as the first.  

A rigorous tasting-process is undertaken by award winning suppliers at The Kensington. They taste up to ten wines in each category and select purely on quality, whilst the wine list is continually updated throughout the year. Magnums have also been incorporated into their extensive list and the fine wines available are ever-growing, meaning making a selection will be a tricky process.

How about tasting a decadent red wine from Spain? The Rioja Gran Reserva ‘Solar’, Bodegas Amézola de la Mora 2010 is a great choice, which can be enjoyed in the relaxing and sophisticated environment of K Bar. Or, taste a fine white wine from France before a delicious meal at Town House. How about slowly sipping on Château Fiezal Blanc, Grand Cru Classé de Graves, Pessac-Léognan 2009?
