The Bristol’s exquisite harbourside restaurant The River Grille is known for its ever-changing seasonal menus, packed full of local ingredients and exciting flavours. This Autumn is no exception. The River Grille’s executive chef has just put the finishing touches on his latest dishes, which reflect the changing seasons.

Warming root vegetables like butternut squash and parsnips have been turned into hearty risottos and smooth purees and sit alongside the likes of cod, butterbean and chorizo stews and hazelnut soufflé for dessert.

The chef loves to incorporate local ingredients in his menu like the delicious lamb and pork belly that comes from Nailsea, which is only 20 minutes from The Bristol, beautifully fresh and sustainably-sourced fish from Brixham, and the West Country’s Cornish Blue, Yarg and Westcomb Cheddar that pack a serious punch on the cheese platter.
