Christmas Tree

A Theatrical Theme at The Bloomsbury

Nothing beats Christmas in the city. The streets of London are sparkling with decorations, the people are filled with Christmas cheer, and the festive spirit is all around. And if that isn’t enough, then a performance of A White Christmas at the Dominion Theatre is sure to put a jingle in your step.  The Bloomsbury Hotel have a yuletide offer which includes tickets to the show, a festive afternoon tea, breakfast and accommodation. The festivities are complete with tickets for ice-skating at the beautiful Somerset House, one of the best city ice rinks around.

Christmas Cocktail

Christmas cocktails at the Kensington

If there’s one thing that signals the start of Christmas, it’s a festive cocktail. And there’s no better place to indulge than in  The Kensington Hotel, where masterful concoctions are whipped up by  award winning mixologist Alessandro Pizzoli. The man himself can create a bespoke tipple to suit your palate, or you can opt for one of the choices from the excellent menu. Like the Guilty Pleasure, which mixes Havana Club Añejo Especial with chocolate sauce, Chambord and dry raspberry. Or the quirky Affumicato, with Campari, aged Martini Rosso, soda, Lapsang Souchong tea leaves.

Christmas Lunch at The Marylebone

Already looking forward to your roast turkey? The chefs at The 108 Brasserie in  The Marylebone will be cooking up a real feast on Christmas day, with five divine, beautifully prepared courses to choose from. Expect starters like a foie gras parfait, with mulled wine jelly and brioche toast, the classic turkey with chestnut stuffing and bread sauce, finished off with a sticky clementine cake. What better way to celebrate Christmas, than a sumptuous feast in stylish surroundings?
