Bring the whole family along to “Who Lives Here?” at Wild Place Project throughout February half term and discover the secret homes of the creatures living right on your doorstep. Locate threatened British species like bats, birds and newts, then stroll through Bear Wood – an immersive wooden walkway exhibit where ‘extinct’ British animals like wolves, lynxes and wolverines roam in the ancient woodland that lies beneath.

Best for…adults

For a post-half term treat, adults should leave the little ones at home and enjoy “The Bristol Gin Experience”. Check in to a beautiful classic room at The Bristol and receive a mini bottle of Bristol Gin in room on arrival. Take it down to the River Lounge and our bar staff can create a range of exciting infusions and combinations to create your own unique gin. Try it with blueberry and thyme, cucumber and basil or grapefruit and tarragon – or just keep it simple with a twist of lemon or lime. After all, you just can’t beat a classic.
