Get out of Town (London – Brighton) 

Feeling particularly energetic? Then unleash your adventurous side for a trip to the seaside with a twist - clip in for the long haul because you’re going to Brighton. This 100km bike ride is not for the feint hearted; start at The Kensington on a sunny Saturday morning and head south to Wandsworth, once you’re over the river find National Cycle Route 20 and start working off your delicious Town House breakfast as you cross the South Downs and descend into Brighton through some the beautiful Sussex countryside. What could be more idyllic?

Two Palaces (Kensington – Windsor)

With all the Royal Wedding fever ahead of this month's nuptials, take in the regal facades of William and Meghan’s marital home and wedding venue with a day’s cycling in London and beyond. Starting just a few minutes north of The Kensington outside the beautiful gates of Kensington Palace, head south west towards Chelsea and then Fulham until you reach Putney Bridge. Here you can follow the Thames Path upstream past Hampton Court (a bonus surprise Palace) and through the rolling English countryside until the castellated battlements of Windsor Castle loom into view.

Hyde Park (Bloomsbury – Notting Hill)

In the market for something a little more leisurely? Head west from The Bloomsbury through Fitzrovia to take a relaxing ride around Hyde Park, taking in Marble Arch, the snaking serpentine, glorious Georgian monument to Prince Albert and finishing up at famously quirky Notting Hill, ready to launch yourself into the delights of the Portobello Road. Maybe you’ll even meet your Julia Roberts?

Regent’s Park and Canals (Marylebone - South Hampstead)

This family-friendly ride for a sunny afternoon takes you north from The Marylebone and into the delightful Regent’s Park. Once you reach the picturesque banks of Regent’s Canal head west towards Maida Vale, taking in Abbey Road (made famous by The Beatle’s) as you potter past and on upwards to South Hampstead. Make sure to stop at Primrose Hill on your way back to the hotel to get a glimpse of one of London’s most jaw-dropping views.
