I cannot recommend the hotel and staff enough. Our coordinator Lauren kept in touch with me prior to the wedding updating me to any changes and honestly she acted as a counsellor too calming me and assuring me that we would have an amazing day. And what an amazing day we had, it was perfect. Guests are still talking about the food which was so delicious and perfectly presented. The staff were so attentive and so lovely and friendly, they couldn’t have done more for us. If I had my time over, I wouldn’t change a thing.

Booking a winter wedding in Ireland could have been a bit of a gamble, but we knew we were in safe hands with The River Lee hotel and its incredible team. Having everything available to us under the one roof made life so much easier for both us and our guests. The whole day ran like clockwork and that is thanks to the meticulous planning an organisation of the team. Everything about the day was beautiful, from the hotel’s winter decorations and beautiful flower arrangements to the amazing food that was served. The midnight steak sandwiches were a massive hit all round! We cannot praise this hotel highly enough as a wedding venue, but also can’t wait to come back for whatever other celebrations the future might hold for us.

The impact of each design detail is striking from the minute you walk into the lobby and are met with the triptych by Cian McLoughlan and the pop of purple from the couches, which lighten the mood and adds a sense of fun to the place. The staff decorated the entire room before our arrival and it was amazing. They worked tirelessly to make it the most special day for us. I couldn't recommend The River Lee and its staff more highly. This is a place that will really make your day so special and individual.

We don't have words to express how grateful we are to The River Lee. We had imagined and wished that we'd have a good day, but nothing could have prepared us for how it actually turned out. It was beyond our wildest dreams. Everything from the ceremony room to The Mirror Room was perfect. I have to highlight the staff, all our guest commented on how friendly and professional they were, no request was too big. And the food - just wow! I've never been to a wedding where all the food was to such a high standard.
