Chinese New Year Family Festival at Museum of London Docklands
For some family-friendly fun to celebrate the annual festivities, head down to London’s original Chinatown in Limehouse, on both the 8 & 9thof February to celebrate at this free family festival. Based at the Museum of London Docklands, which is just a stone’s throw away from West India Quay station, the Lunar New Year celebrations will be in full swing,
Enjoy live performances, martial art demonstrations, creative workshops and much more over this weekend, as the perfect way to introduce your little ones to the authentic traditions of the New Year and Chinese culture. If you’re a real foodie, then look no further than the Central Street Cookery School’s Supper Club, paying homage to the Chinese New Year. Learn and cook delicious Chinese recipes with friends during this 3-hour interactive feast starting from 6.30pm on the 24thJanuary.

Celebrate the launch of DRGN at John Lewis
To mark the start of Chinese New Year, join John Lewis and Partners at their department store for an afternoon of celebrations, as they launch their new drink DRGN, just in time for the festivities.
Located in the Oxford Street store, the store will welcome a free tasting to promote their turmeric-based drink and a live performance by traditional Chinese dragon dancers from 12-2pm.

Chinese New Year Afternoon Tea at Harrods
