Autumn has arrived at Dalloway Terrace
The Bloomsbury’s beautiful Dalloway Terrace has received a gloriously golden seasonal refresh
The Bloomsbury’s Dalloway Terrace has received a glowing golden makeover, just in time for autumn. Guests will be whisked away to the charm of an autumnal woodland without having to leave Zone ,1 with an abundance of copper foliage lining the terrace walls to create an enchanting restaurant setting in the heart of the capital.
So far this year, the terrace has been transformed from a frosty festive wonderland to a Sri-Lankan inspired paradise, followed during the summer months by the romantic, floral-filled ‘Dalloway Summer Estate’. Now, for autumn, Dalloway Terrace has teamed up with the brilliant Nikki Tibbles Wild at Heart team once more to transform the restaurant into a magical golden oasis, resting under a canopy of preserved Oak and Beech leaves an natural cork bark, ensuring the beauty of ‘golden hour’ is prevalent no matter what time of day you visit.

With new décor comes a new seasonal menu, and the exciting arrival of Æcorn – the world’s first range of non-alcoholic aperitifs. Inspired by 17th century English herbal remedies and the European aperitif tradition, Æcorn is made from 100% English grown Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Meunier grapes. These grapes are pressed early and blended with appetite stimulating herbs, roots and bitter botanicals to create a range of complex and bold non-alcoholic aperitifs. Diners can sample the fresh and citrusy notes ofSweet But Sassy, made with Strawberry-infused Æcorn Dry, Three Citrus Shrub, Non-Alcoholic Violet Bitters and SASSY Le Cidre Rosé, or try the Æcorn Elderflower Spritz for a something more floral and crisp.
For Afternoon Tea, Dalloway Terrace’s Head Pastry Chef Chris Dodd has devised a menu inspired by Æcorn’s three distinct aperitifs. Amongst his autumnal creation is the delightfulConkers on a String(Chestnut and Milk Chocolate Cream, laced with Æcorn Aromatic) and the tantalisingSage & Lemon Tartlette(with Æcorn’s ‘Dry’ Liqueur) – a delicious twist on the traditional sweet treats served as part of afternoon tea.
The main menu has been infused with seasonal recipes too, with Executive Head Chef Byron Moussouris introducing indulgent additions such as theRack of Lamb with Peas & Salsa Verde and Charred Hot Smoked Trout Salad with Horseradish & Soft Egg Squash, offering guests a true flavour of autumn.

Amongst the beautiful decoration, guests can enjoy snuggly woollen blankets to truly embrace the changing weather in cosy style.
