What makes a suite special?
Inside The Westbury's luxurious suites
In The Westbury, every room is luxuriously stylish, comfortable and chic. But sometimes, you want to treat yourself to a little more space, or simply something exceptional for a special occasion. So what exactly are the elements that makes the suites truly stand out from the Superior and Deluxe rooms?
Space
Naturally, the suites are of a bigger size, often with additional seating areas. The Studio Suite offers a generous 495 sq. ft. of space, which means there’s a generous lounging area in addition to the bed. Each of the other suites have an increasing amount of space available, up to the Presidential Suite, which boasts an incredible incredible 507 sq. ft. and has a separate living space comprising a bar, dining area and lounge, with ultra-chic décor that includes original artworks by notable Irish artists and sleek designer furniture. It is one of the largest suites in Dublin, and also boasts its own steam room and sauna.
The Beds
While all of the beds in The Westbury are deliciously cosy (thanks to the pillow topped mattresses and Lissadell bed linen), the beds in the suites have something a little extra to offer. Some of the suites have contemporary-styled four-poster beds, while others feature king beds with a luxurious headboard.
The Bathrooms
There’s nothing more lavish than a little more space in the bathroom, and the suites all boast extra-spacious marble bathrooms, with the under floor heating that all the hotel rooms feature. The Luxury Suites have beautiful new roll top baths, so you can luxuriate in style (in a bath filled with Aromatherapy Associates bubbles, naturally).
The Artwork
There’s a running theme of incredible art in The Westbury, with special pieces displayed in The Gallery and throughout the hotel. In the suites, you’re likely to find original paintings and sculptures by noted artists on display, particularly in the Luxury Four Poster and Presidential Suites. You’ll also find some rather special coffee table books to peruse over your delicious Nespresso.
Rates for suites usually start at €278 per night for the Studio Suite, but there is currently a special Suite Celebrations package for the New Year. With 25% off an overnight stay, including a full Irish breakfast, the Suite Celebrations rate is from €255 per night – you can see more here. Available for stays from 2nd of January until 28th of February.
