The very best non-alcoholic alternatives to try at The Doyle Collection hotels during Dry January

Treat yourself to something delicious during Dry January

In 2020, avoiding alcohol doesn’t have to mean cancelling on social situations. Londoners are increasingly opting for low or no alcohol options, so keeping to your Dry January pledge should be easier than ever before.

The Doyle Collection’s London hotels offer a variety of non-alcoholic options for guests to enjoy, available all year round.

Cocktails at The Coral Room

The Coral Room

The Coral Room’s fabulous new cocktail menu tells a story of sips around the country, from Wordsworth’s Lakes and Bronte’s moors to the Cornish Riviera, Glastonbury and the Bloomsbury Group’s Sussex retreat. The delicious non-alcoholic option is inspired by Lancashire, using local ingredients to bring the history of the destination to the drinker’s taste buds. Living In Coral combines Seedlip Spice 94, Pineapple & Earl Grey Tea Shrub, Coconut Water and LE Soda Water for a refreshing tipple in the beautiful surroundings of The Coral Room.

During Dry January, The Coral Room will also be serving four wellness cocktails in partnership with Meda Human, in order to restore the balance of both body and mind through the imitable benefits CBD has to offer.

Planning to meet with friends for a special occasion during January but would rather not have alcohol in the mix? Then an indulgent afternoon tea could be the perfect alternative. Head to The Kensington for the London Landmarks Afternoon Tea. Packed with savoury delights, scones, sandwiches and sweet treats, the tea is served daily from noon to 6pm at Town House. The food itself is a celebration of the very best of the capital, with sandwiches and savouries served on a London Eye-inspired tea stand. Expect classic British bites, including Colston Bassett Stilton and broccoli quiche, and a steak and ale pie, straight from East London. The sweet treats are the real showstoppers, each designed to look like a famed London landmark. From The Gherkin constructed from white chocolate coated ganache, to the Big Ben lemon curd tart, the tea offers something exciting – and just as Instagram-worthy as a fabulous cocktail! The tea provided is from The Rare Tea Company, which sources leaves directly from sustainable farmers, benefitting the land and the people living on it. Herbal infusions on the menu include Wild Rooibos from South Africa and English Chamomile from Cornwall.
