Lorna Luxe hosts tea at Dalloway Terrace
Bloggers tea
Luxury Lifestyle blogger Lorna Luxe invited a team of her best blogger friends to try out the Pierre Marcolini afternoon tea at the newly-transformed winter wonderland that is Dalloway Terrace. Read all about their experience first hand from Lorna herself
OK, so before I launch into my gushing rant about Dalloway Terrace being the only place to hangout right now and before I strike a petition for #WINTERATDALLOWAY to be crowned THE hottest afternoon tea ticket in town... we need to talk about its Instagram.
I’m aesthetically emotional at the best of times, but I guarantee a quick stalk of that Instagram gallery brings me out in Christmassy cheer. It also has me salivating with food envy - but more of that later. Nope. Nothing quite prepares you for the setting that is Winter at Dalloway. Wild At Heart scene queen Nikki Tibbles and her team have spruced it up like a first-rate Narnia. Transforming the already stunning terrace into a spell-binding wonderland. Characteristically Nikki, the terrace is filled with dramatic gardenia, dressed in opulent garlands, distinctively striking with no area left untouched. It really is a wilderness full of hanging pine cones and festive twinkles that make you feel as though you’re dining in a magical fantasy adventure. The Dalloway’s Christmas coup d’maitre non?
I hosted a dozen good friends and influencers just days after Winter at Dalloway launched. We decided to meet up mid-week on a fairly cold and frosty Wednesday afternoon, piling into the side entrance of the terrace like camera-wielding hooligans but were swiftly greeted with flutes of chilled Perrier-Jouët and ushered to our very own cosy dining nook. Sophisticated luxing had resumed. FYI: Big fan of those sheepskin throws we got to cuddle up. Nice work Dalloway nice work. Dalloway Terrace for President?
Haute chocolatierie Pierre Marcolini’s afternoon tea menu is quite frankly, fit for a royal banquet. For want of a better phrase the Pierre Marcolini team have smashed it, drafting up petit edible treats to die for... I was particularly enamoured by the White Chocolate & Christmas Pudding Dome and didn’t waste time hoovering not one but three of those babies before buttermilk scones even got a look in. Course any chance I get to dine out with other bloggers/influencers/digital genies, it’s essential to capture some form of selfie/shallowfie/sorry-not-sorry-i-ate-three-fie. I took a lot of pictures which I think sum up just how much fun we had. Enjoy. Thanks so so much Dalloway for giving us the most magical mid-weeker ever. We will be back.
